Vintage Old Pawn Navajo 1953 Bench Bead Turquoise Necklace

THIS WONDERFUL “OLD PAWN” NAVAJOBENCH BEAD TURQUOISE STERLING SILVER NECKLACE,was MADE impeccably for someone in the Familyin the Southwest cornerof the “Navajoland” (Arizona) in 1953.(THIS AREA OF NAVAJOLAND OCCUPIED TERRITORY, IS STILL THE ‘FOUR CORNER’S’ THAT INCLUDES…UTAH, COLORADO, ARIZONA AND NEW MEXICO…) Has been in our family for many years as it belongs to my grandparents. It’s been kept in a safe a I’ve never worn it as it was a no no in my childhood. The pendant is larger then a quarter but not quite the size of a half dollar if that helps and I put the measurements in the photos. A stunning piece.
