Overall, it's in exquisite condition, but being a vintage item from about half a century ago, there are some unavoidable scratches and stains from years of use. It functions properly, but I'm listing it as a "junk" item. * Erase and record heads demagnetized with TEAC E-3
* Playback speed adjusted using a test tape
* Left and right channel playback levels adjusted using a test tape
* Deteriorated sponge on the battery cover and internal circuit board replaced
