Antique Davenport Ironstone Sauce Tureen With Ladle

This is a gorgeous Davenport white Ironstone sauce tureen with ladle. Both pieces are embossed with the English Registry Diamond mark. Manufacturers date is 1855. There is a beautiful embossed design throughout on all pieces. Not sure if the finial is the fig design or not. There is all over crazing. Some mild discoloration in spots. This set is in amazing condition. There is only 1 small, old surface chip on rim of the pedestal base & a very old tight, surface spider hairline on bottom of base. Lid & ladle in great condition. So hard to find these pieces with the original ladle present. Tureen measures 8.5 in length, 6.75 in height & 4.5 in width. Ladle measures 7 in length. Perfect addition to your Ironstone collection!
